Challenge:
SBLI recognized that the best way to grow its business was through employee
referrals but they had neither an idea for gifts nor communications and
distribution strategies in place.
Solution:
SBLI turned to CMS for recommendations on how best to tap this valuable
resource and encourage recognizable behaviors for assisting in corporate growth.
CMS designed and implemented a employee referral recognition program which
rewarded employees by providing them with access to high-end promotional items
in return for qualified sales leads. The referral site was point based and was
comprised of 4 gift levels, 24 products ranging in price from $25.00 to $350.00.
Success!
The program was originally designed to service 250 internal SBLI employees but
before it was even launched, it was enhanced to reach thousands of external
SBLI business partners such as accountants and independent financial advisors,
who can all now take full advantage of this resource.
